Happy Valentine's Day!

Valentine’s Day is just a few days away and we’ll admit it…… we’re in love!

Little Xi’Xi, who we recently introduced as the face of this year’s YAI and Broadview Network’s Central Park Challenge, has stolen our hearts! And can you blame us? Xi’Xi’s spirit and smile make her easy to love.

We’re not the only ones who are head over heels for this little girl. For Xi’Xi’s parents, Cindy Klaja-McLaughlin and Pat McLaughlin, it was love at first sight. This year, they are thrilled that the apple of their eye is representing the Central Park Challenge! As the happy family gets ready to celebrate Valentine’s Day together, proud mom Cindy shared with us a few words about the little girl who has melted her heart.

"I often describe the moment that I met Norma Xi'an (Xi'Xi) as being struck by ‘Cupid's Bow.’ That is a feeling of falling deeply and unabashedly in love. That is a feeling that only comes around a few times in a lifetime... a pure and unconditional love that cannot be fully described. The uncanny thing about this whole experience was that separately my husband, Pat, was pierced by the same arrow...by the same baby...at the same time... This single event changed the trajectory of all our lives. Here we are, three years later, and it continues to be an amazing ride. The best part is watching Xi'Xi flourish physically, mentally and emotionally. She has a magic that pulls people into her world, and we are lucky and honored to be her parents."

Happy Valentine’s Day to Xi’Xi, the McLaughlins and of course… to all of you! We feel so lucky to have your year-round dedication, support and friendship.
