Tina Stollak’s Team: Raising funds for YAI

Tina Sussman-Stollak has been working tirelessly for YAI’s Annual Central Park Challenge for years. Her son Michael was diagnosed with Asperger’s syndrome, a form of autism, at age eleven. Some years later, as Tina proudly reports, she was fortunate to find YAI . . . and that has truly made all the difference. Today, Michael is an adult living at one of YAI’s supported apartments where he receives services from our extraordinary staff.

Always committed, always involved . . . each and every year Tina embarks on a massive letter writing campaign to her extensive network of family, friends and colleagues to raise funds for the critical services provided by YAI. The money Tina raises goes directly to support Michael’s home at the Newbridge Apartments.

YAI is Tina’s second family, but number one in helping Michael to manage the challenges he faces everyday and to realize his full potential.

We are grateful for Tina’s continued support. Tina, Michael and Glenn are true partners of the YAI Network - - they are ardent supporters of the important work that we do and an integral part of the YAI family.
