Happy Valentine's Day from YAI!

We thought we'd kick off the 2010 Central Park Challenge season with a little love to remind us all why we do what we do. Whether you observe February 14 with paper hearts and chocolates or do your best to ignore it, everyone will smile at Jeffrey's story.

He's just that kind of guy.

Jeffrey, 29, has Down syndrome. He originally developed social skills at the YAI Network's Brooklyn Heights Day Services program. YAI's employment training programs helped him sharpen these skills and learn others for the workplace. Now, less than three months after starting his first job at Heartland Brewery, he is making friends with his co-workers and enjoys bringing home a check. But it's what Jeffrey plans on doing with his checks that's the real heartwarmer here. Watch to find out!
