Creative Community Fundraisers

Well, the 2010 Central Park Challenge fundraising season is off to a great start! We are so excited about the number of interesting, community-based events coming up. These types of events allow us to spread YAI's message to new people while we raise vital funds.

Knit-A-Thon
YAI Network's Long Island Project ASSIST is throwing its second annual Knit-A-Thon! This crafty activity has seen a huge resurgence in popularity in the last few years--what better way to spend a winter Saturday? Sponsor a knitter or start that sweater or blanket you've been putting off. Prizes will be raffled off throughout the day. Food and drink will also be served. All knitters are welcome!
